Whispered focuses on helping you accelerate your search once you have clarity, while coaches focus on helping you get that clarity.

We evaluate each application on the following criteria. It is not a perfect science, but we have assessed over 2,000 applicants so far and focus on adding members who we feel we can accelerate in their search and who would benefit the community. We aren't evaluating you in the same way a recruiter does, and we love candidates we think we can polish:

• Clarity: Do you have clarity in the full-time role you are targeting, and can you communicate it effectively?
• Seniority: We focus on Director+ executives.
• Work history: We assess the companies you have been at, the impact you have made and the tenure you have had.
• Model fit: We look for people who appreciate the collaborative aspect of our model and would bring a positive spirit to the community.

Both plans provide access to our roles, introductions, insights and community. The key differences are:

• Contribution-based vs. full access: Pro requires contributions to access more roles and introductions. Pro is great for executives already seeing lots of unposted roles.
• App access: Pro members use Whispered through the community and MCP, while Premium also gets the app, with all roles and the complete network map.

Recruiters work for companies. Whispered is built for executives. To provide our platform to executives we charge.

We give away as much as we can with our free plan.

No. We structure our fee with both an initiation and monthly so if you aren't getting value, you can stop at any time but we do not offer free trials and do not waive the activation fee.

We invest time upfront and believe that people need to fully commit to their search to be successful vs. viewing Whispered as a way to find a few unposted roles. Recognizing that this model isn't for everyone, we work to give away as much of our expertise and databases as possible for free.

Think of our our pricing like a gym membership. The upfront initiation:

• Is how we ensure members are committed Our model works best for execs who commit and collaborate vs sit back
• Allows us to require no long-term commitment Whispered is month-to-month. Less than 5% of members stop before they graduate but you are welcome to at anytime
• Allows us to keep monthly charges low We want to allow people once they commit to stay engaged as they are searching

We partner with select companies who fund the initiation of select members in their community. We believe in the importance of early commitment to get the full value out of Whispered, so with our partners we rebate the initiation fee of members approved by our partners when the member meets all of the following:

1. Sync their connections to our Whispered Network to allow them to help with introductions
2. Attend 2 huddles (expert sessions and/or function-specific huddles)
3. Contribute at least 2 unposted roles

Pro is designed for executives who don't need full access to roles and introductions. Credits for roles work as follows:

• Add credits with contributions of roles and company insights. Credits for each insight range from 1-5 credits depending on how much it improves our database.
• Use 1 credit per role: Use 1 credit per role you get access to. We only charge you once per role.

Pro is a new beta offering. We will be refining credits as we formalise this contribution-based plan.

No you do not. You can stop your Whispered membership at any time. If you graduate successfully, you will get the option of staying on as Alumni (see below).

When you graduate successfully, you will have the option of staying involved on our alumni plan. This gives you continued access to the platform with:

• Full access to insights
• Continued access to introductions as long as you make 1 contribution in the past 90 days
• Access to the community
• Waived initiation fee when you want to do your next search

Searching collaboratively is powerful. We have been thoughtful in how we have designed this collaboration in to Whispered:

• We believe that it is better to know (and collaborate) with other executives and know the other folks competing for a role. This allows you to share insights on the role / company and even figure out which of you is best qualified.
• For roles with multiple executives searching concurrently, we have exclusive community channels where they can collaborate together. You are welcome to opt-out of this but we find the support and collaboration provide great value. Learn more about the power of searching together.
• If a role isn’t fit for one executive, they can refer others in: There are many different skill sets and levels of seniority (as well as Geo/Industry focuses) so we frequently see executives refer each other in.
• We only admit members who are collaborative: We assess this upfront.
• You can share roles privately and work them first. Call this out in your submission and the role will be added to the database but not slacked and only visible to you and whispered leaders.

We don't share any information unless you give explicit approval. No recruiters or companies have access to the data shared with Sage - only our team can access/search this data. We are exploring a features to allow users to permit their profile to be shared with select recruiters.

There are a number of reasons why companies and recruiters don't post roles. We respect those reasons and have built a model to work with companies / recruiters to make these roles available quietly to qualified candidates who respect that confidentiality.

Unposted roles are shared with us in confidence by recruiters, companies and Whispered paid members. We get these roles because all parties trust that roles shared with Whispered remain confidential and don’t spread publicly — so we can only share them with paying members who’ve agreed to our community standards.

To help as many executives as possible, we allow companis to post their role as a Whispered Role™️ and let non-Whispered members apply.

When you submit a role, you select how a role should be secured (just the Whispred team or Whispered Paid members). Roles never leave Whispered and only members who fit our criteria for seniority are invited to join Whispered. We secure all role information via authenticated login.

Executives who interview with companies can ask detailed questions. For years they have been confidentially sharing them with us. You can contribute and earn credits today.

We do not edit user-provided data unless it violates our company insight guidelines. We use AI to integrate new insights with prior insights.

We are happy to connect with the company and work with them either to add additional information or remove the insight completely. If we remove the insight we will notify our community that the insight was removed at company’s request. Companies can contact us via support@whispered.com

We know that searching for a role (particularly while in another role) is scary and we have designed Whispered to help executives search confidentially. All information executives share with us is only accessible by our team. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

All company insight contributions are anonymous (we do verify identity upon submission) and we've designed our roles database to give submitters full control of how loudly their role is whispered (see more details above).

Yes: We use AI to allow us to scale ourselves in the following ways:

• Executives: Review executives profiles and categorize based on the fields listed here
• Executives: Chat about your search, share advice / coaching and... more
• Companies: Add fields to help executives identify breakout companies.
• Investors: Identify which companies they have invested in and recent funding.
